English for nurses – Grundlagenseminar

A language needs to be spoken regularly otherwise your skills become rusty. By improving your language skills you also improve your nursing care, as patient and nurse understand each other better.

On two separate mornings you will refresh your vocabulary of words associated with the human body, common medical terminology and some basic procedures. You will listen to nurse - patient dialogues and practise through conversation and role play. Perfect grammar is not essential but a basic knowledge of English is a must.
